We don't just carry out a job - we offer you an all-round solution.

Every translation starts with a detailed briefing. This calls for your input as much as ours, because we need you to give us some vital information. We start by discussing the text that is to be translated. And if there's anything that's unclear, we ask you to explain it. We look at texts with a very critical eye and identify any breaks in logic, anything that's open to misinterpretation, not to mention those "typos" that always seem to find their way into any text.

If you use specialist terminology, then you also need to pass it on to us before we can get down to work. Of course, that doesn't mean that we don't have our own reference sources, but we want to comply with the expressions you normally use.

All our translators are native speakers of the "target" language into which they are translating – that is our strict policy. This means that they not only have a thorough command of grammar, spelling and so on but that they have a feeling for the nuances of the language that only a native speaker can. At the same time, of course, they are also fluent in the "source" language, the language in which the text is written.

Even when the text has been translated, our work is still not over. The text we deliver to you must first undergo our strict quality control: it is proof-read by another translator, who checks that the translation is complete and accurate and that the correct terminology has been used. If our checkers come across something they would have translated differently – because there are always passages in a text that can be interpreted one way or the other – it will be discussed with the translator. In this way, we can ensure that the translation reflects the source text as accurately as possible.

Only then do we deliver your translation.
